Be Part of a Global Mobilization!

With Aha!Boxes we support children to meet the challenge of the Global Goals.

We believe in the idea of a global responsibility for a sustainable development. Therefore we create all Aha!Boxes with strong links to the 17 Global Goals (Sustainable Development Goals) of the United Nations.

There are many ways to take action and to support the aims of the Global Goals. With Aha!Boxes we want to contribute to this universal endeavour and show how everybody can take actions for a better future on our globe.

“Ours can be the first generation to end poverty – and the last generation to address climate change before it is too late”

Ban Ki-moon

Former Secretary-General, United Nations

Humans impact on the earth started from its primal emergence.
Since the first extensive atomic tests in the 1950s, the beginning of industrialization around 1800, or ever since the introduction of diseases from Europe to the American continent in the 17th century, man has become one of the greatest factors in the development of our planet. Scientists already proposed a new name for the time in which we live: the Anthropocene.

Human-induced changes affect not only confined regions but the whole globe. This is why one can solve the challenges, which are brought about by ever-accelerating developments, only together.

For this reason, the UNO, the international community, adopted in the year 2015 the common development targets for the period up to 2030.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or Global Goals, are an important step to achieve a better and more equitable life for all on earth. Many of the important topics discussed in the Global Goals are difficult to explain and hard to understand for young people. With the Aha!Boxes, we not only explain the SDGs, but we also demonstrate a variety of ways how individual action can be used to achieve the global goals.

The World’s Largest Lesson is a part of project everyone with the mission to introduce the Sustainable Development Goals to children and young people everywhere, engage and unites them in action.
